Seems like this would make a really nice RV for one person, admittedly with a lot of interior work. This seems unexpectedly affordable.

I’ve been noticing some of our local food truck operators are using some of these instead of the more traditional fleetside vans - good idea.

You can get them for even cheaper out in Illinois. My Gambler 500 team is considering getting an old school bus for the purpose of having a non-stop party bus for the whole rally.

Meh. Significantly better off just buying an old used RV and updating it. Otherwise you’re stuck with install grey and black tanks, all of the plumbing, lines and carrier for propane, hvac ducts, furnace, hot water heater, the entire bathroom. It’s just not worth it.
Yo u can get the same chassis but with most of that stuff already in it for about the same price.

This is the correct approach
Buy something that is an RV and then update it and refurbish it. Significantly easier and cheaper.
I've seen some refurbished stuff that looks amazing

Better, cheaper approach: just stay in a hotel.

Having a few years where I played bluegrass and hung out with lots of bluegrass bands, I’ve been in a lot of RVs, Busses, and more than one e450 camper conversion.
I’ll admit I’ve considered what it would take to make a decent rig out of an old van based bus like this. I can be done, but most of the examples I’ve seen were never super nice inside yet were still cheaper than this. It’s been a couple years, but I feel like you can get old airport/hospital shuttles for under $5k, especially if you don’t mind doing some maintenance/cleanup. Of course then you’ve got to put in plumb ing, frame out rooms/bunks/storage, and figure out a generator situation. Most times I feel like you’re better off starting out with something that’s already an RV and just improving it. Still, if the drivetrain is in good shape and you don’t mind doing all the work it could be a decent way to go

Mack is trying to ensure the hotels have enough suites so he can get an upgrade with gold status.

Yes and no. I have a travel trailer that is pretty reasonably priced (including a relatively low monthly cost for payment and maintenance).
It has a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom with king size bed.
We “camp” (I use that term lightly) right on one of several lakes, within city limits in the south east, and right on the beach in GA or FL as often as we can (about every other weekend).
The cost at the campground for a spot with water and electric is roughly 25-30 per night and we get to bring our two dogs along with us.
So for a reasonable price per night we get a home away from home (that we know is bed bug free and fully furnished) with stellar views. I’ve never stayed in a hotel nearly as nice as our trailer.
The only downside is that I drive a truck now. LOL. Something I didn’t ever think I’d be doing. But it’s comfy on my commute so I can’t complain.
You you also have to plan your trips a little differently but it didn't take us long to get used to it

On the other hand, all I really want is a tent I don’t have to set up that I can stand up in. I could decide later what extra features I’d want to add, but for the foreseeable future I wouldn’t need plumbing. Or HVAC.
I doubt I’d buy it, but frankly it’s all the ‘home’ maintenance that worries me about RV ownership. I have enough of that shit at my real house.

Not enough info to determine if it’s a NP or not.
No info on which engine and the mileage.
Also it depends on what you want out something like this. If you just want something for group road trips, it could be fine.
Or if you want it for camping and you want to use it to tow a bunch of people and a camping trailer, it could work for that too.
